Beth has over 30 years of experience working with individuals using augmentative communication, their families, and school staff. She developed the Augmentative Communication Program at Easter Seals Crossroads in Indianapolis, Indiana in the late 1980's and hasn't slowed down since. In addition to Easter Seals, she has worked in public schools, taught university courses, provided webinars and is a recognized presenter at the state, national and international level. Currently Beth provides evaluations and training for school staff and families through her company, Breakout Engineering. Beth also is the co-creator of the Indiana AAC Summit, a statewide conference that brings together front-line providers of AAC from across the state to network and learn from each other.

LAMP Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) is a therapeutic approach based on neurological and motor learning principles. The goal is to give individuals who are nonverbal or have limited verbal abilities a method of independently and spontaneously expressing themselves in any setting.
